Chris Hawkins started February 8, 2022 with Four Mile FPD. He recently moved from Missouri to start a new life in the mountains. Chris had the desire to meet his fellow community members and be part of something bigger than just a neighborhood...Four Mile was the answer! After serving as a volunteer for 8 months he was promoted to Lieutenant for Wildland fires. Chris has worked hard in completing Fire Academy 2022 and met his early goal to be Hazmat certified, Firefighter Type 2 in Wildland, and Firefighter Type 1 in Structure.
"Everything happens for a reason. I always wanted to be a full time fire fighter and once I moved out to Colorado, that dream became a reality!"
